california raisins choco-nut bread

Choco-nut bread is one of my favourite merienda! I absolutely consider it a welcoming comfort food. Cecille and I baked this (inset) based on ingredients that I had on hand at the time. We used a round non-stick pie pan so it will look a little different from the usual loaf breads. We also added lots and lots of nature’s natural candy, raisins. Raisins are rich in antioxidant, important to get in to our body through the food we eat and have also been linked to Cancer prevention. Also contains many B vitamins that give energy. Adding fiber, calcium, fat-free, cholesterol-free and less in sodium are also the wonderful health benefits of raisins. Regarding about chocolate, chocolate is healthy because it also has anti-cancer properties, improves the circulatory system, prevents diarrhea and cough and is an aphrodisiac. So we are so pleasured with this merienda. I recommend you try this one.
